Unique from mainstream events,
The Dance Sessions are held in dance schools and studio spaces instead of hotel ballrooms or large convention centers. This provides dancers an ideal environment to explore and develop their art as well as helping to develop a stronger sense of community among dancers, teachers and school owners.
A powerful blend of challenges for the mind, body and soul,
The Dance Sessions pushes dancers to new levels of personal growth. The faculty is a fusion of artists from varying genres of dance. Highly acclaimed choreographers
Sonya Tayeh and
Chris Jacobsen co-founded the organization with a focus on creating a non-competitive environment for dancers to expand their artistic vocabulary and strengthen their facility.
Believing that diversity is essential, the faculty provides dance sessions in contemporary movement, classical ballet, theater dance, hip-hop, jazz technique and improvisation. As well as dance history, body awareness and nutrition.
